Break-ins and Fire Alarms!!!

We haven't had much luck at the salon lately. Last weekend the salon was burglarized it was part of a 5 store hit in Clearfield. They ripped the TV off the wall, rummaged in all of our station drawers, and took some cash in the cash box. They obviously don't know much about hair because they left all the flat irons and shears. My shears are around $500!!! We figured that there was about $1200 dollars worth of equipment at each stylists station. I am glad that they were not aware of this fact because I love my blow dryer!!:) (it is so cute and has jewels on it) But wait, that's not all!!! I got a call on Tuesday night that the salon was on FIRE. WHAT???? I couldn't believe it, what was going on!!?? Someone left a candle burning in the bathroom and it went up in smoke. The lady who owns the bed store next door smelled smoke and called 911. Lucky for us the Fire Department got there in time and the damage was contained to the holder the candle was in and just a bit of smoke damage on the bathroom wall. (my blow dryer was saved again WHOO!!!) Boy did it smell in there the next day. It was horrible and it gave me a huge headache. What a crazy week it was! I guess somebody is watchin' out for us because we have been very lucky.
