My sister Christy was kind enough to let me use her skymiles to fly home for a few weeks before I can't travel anymore. It was so nice to see my family...I have missed them a ton. While I was there they had their first snow of the season and it was beautiful. This little guy is such a heater I walked around the whole time without a coat and it felt awesome. My niece Addison has grown a ton and she is talking up a storm. When we drove up and all you could see was this little head with tons of curls waiting at the front window...she ran to the door, poked her head out and said, "Kacky, I missed you!" She is hilarious and likes to pretend she is asleep and fake snore and for the next two weeks all I heard as she was pulling on my fingers was "Pa'mon Kacky, Let's go!" I love that little girl she is the best thing in the whole world. I had a baby shower with all my family and a few close friends and it was so good to see everyone. The baby...who is sadly still nameless...was super spoiled. Our families who are so amazing took care of a highchair, a swing, the car seat, and stroller. My mom gave me a blessing outfit and this beautiful crotchet blanket. My mother in-law took me shopping up at the outlets in Park City and we got a ton of cute clothes. I think between these two grandmas this little boy is going to be super spoiled. I feel so blessed for the friends and family who gave us so much for this new little guy. I was so excited to come home and show Andrew all of the amazing things we got...lets just say it definitely made this whole your gonna be parents thing a little more real. Here is some of the loot that this baby boy walked away with.

It was so good to be with family and relax for a few weeks. I am so grateful for our family and all the support that they give us...I feel so blessed to have them in my life. We are so excited to start our own little family and grateful that the Lord has blessed us with this gift.

it was SO SO SO good to see you :)
How fortunate for you Kathy! That was so sweet of Christy! Little kids are such fun...
So about a week after our lunch date, Harrison and I were driving by your street and out of nowhere he yelled "Kappy, kappy!" I couldn't believe it. I guess you left quite the impression on him. Love you!
